I’m Jenn a passionate nature painter and custom portrait artist(specializing in pets) based in Nova Scotia, Canada. With a deep love for animals and the natural world, I specialize in creating soulful pet portraits that capture the unique personality of your beloved companions.

I will use my 15 plus years of experience to create a timeless piece of art for your home.

In my portrait work I strive to create a piece of art that celebrates your pet in a way that feels both personal and unique. Every portrait is a reflection of the bond you share with your furry friend, making it the perfect gift for pet lovers or a meaningful keepsake for years to come.

Artist Bio

Jennifer Sinclair is a Nova Scotia–based artist whose work is rooted in a deep connection to the natural world. Working in oils and sometimes acrylics she focuses on capturing the character and presence of wild and domestic animals, as well as the intricate beauty of plants and berries.

Jenn’s practice is guided by careful observation and a sensitivity to light, depth and expressions. Her work captures intimate close-ups, all unified by a focus on the beauty in ordinary things.

Artist Statement

My work focuses on fostering a sense of connection between the viewer and the natural world. I am drawn to the quiet beauty of animals, both domestic and wild, the up close details of nature and every day life. I invite the viewer to slow down, look closely, and find meaning and joy in nature and with the creatures we share our lives with.
