Beginner to Intermediate Drawing Private -Semi Private Classes
Wednesdays 4:30 - 6:00 pm for 4 consecutive weeks.
Available Start dates Jan 21,28, Feb 4 or 11th.
For Private Lessons $200, add a Friend $300 ($150 per student) Add two Friends $400 ($133.33 per student)
This class is designed for ages 12 -Adult that have very little realistic drawing experience or who want to refine their existing skills. Students on the younger end of the scale should be able to concentrate and focus on work for 1.5 hours straight through.
We will concentrate on building a strong foundation of drawing skills with pencil and paper using various techniques.
Some of the methods we will use will be ;
Observational Drawing (from life)
Understanding values/tones
Using a grid to map out a drawing from a reference photo.
Shading methods
The subject matter we use will vary and students will have the opportunity to choose from a selection of reference photos to work from.
Supplies needed can be purchased at any local art supply shop, many dollar stores or Amazon.
Set of artists pencils ranging in shades from 4H-8B
White gum eraser
Smooth sketch book 8.5x11 size or larger preferably with perforated pages
Optional
Smudging stumps

Missed classes are non refundable, if for some reason I have to reschedule a class I will find a suitable time to re-book the class typically the same weekday and time just added after the last week of classes.
Once you purchase the class please email to confirm the preferred start date, and to provide additional student information. If booking for two or more students it is NOT necessary for them all to have the same level of drawing experience.
