Custom hand-painted oil pet portrait.
Portraits make great gifts for Birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, or any occasion.
They are a beautiful way to memorialize a pet as well.
I have been painting pets for over 15 years and am able to capture their likeness as well as their personalities!
These portraits are done on flat canvas board and are ready for you to have framed. They are not ready to hang when they arrive. This keeps the price affordable for new collectors. If you need assistance with framing please email me.
Because of the small size, these are best suited for head only portraits of single pets. Larger custom portraits are available please email me directly to discuss.
Once you have placed your order here are the next steps!
1. Send me a message via email and let me know your thoughts on colour of the background and send me an assortment of clear photos. Images must be clear and well-lit for me to work from. Please check my Commission page for some examples. More than one is always best and I can help you determine which will make the best painting.
2. I get started on your painting. I don’t usually send updates once the painting has begun but once it is almost finished I will send you a photo update for review. If there are any changes to be made this is the last chance to do them. More than one or two changes may result in an extra charge.
3. Once the painting is completed I will send you a photo, then it will be varnished and is ready to ship.
Depending on how many commissions are in the works at one time wait times may be anywhere from 1 week -4 weeks. If you need your portrait by a certain date please include that in your email. If I cannot meet that date I will not start the portrait and your money will be refunded. It will never take less than a week. Rush orders may be an extra charge and can be completed in acrylics to cut the dry time significantly.
Because of the custom nature of this product, no refunds are available. I will do my best to meet your expectations and before it is mailed you will have the chance to review your purchase. Sometimes the colour you see on your screen will vary slightly from the product in person I cannot be held responsible for that.
